Speaker Information

A PowerPoint technical and two laptop computers will be available in the speaker ready room. An AAGP staff member will also be on had to assist speakers. Please stop in the day before or morning of your presentation to load your slides onto the system. By doing this in advance, any problems can be detected and solved well ahead of your session. The room is also available for speakers who would like to review their presentation/slides on the equipment.

All poster presenters may check in at the Speaker ready Room with David McGuire if they have any questions. Each poster session will be held in the main Exhibit Hall, Kamehameha III.

The dimensions of each poster board are 45" (vertical) by 90" (horizontal) – roughly 4 feet by 8 feet. Pushpins will be provided onsite. New Research Posters may be set-up beginning Thursday from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM or Friday from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM. Early Investigator Posters may be set-up Saturday only from 6:30 AM – 10:30 AM. After each respective session, all posters should be removed immediately or they will be discarded. Upon entering the Exhibit Hall, please proceed to the designated poster showcase and look for your assigned poster number on the boards.

There will be viewing times for New Research Posters from 11:00 AM – 5:15 PM on Friday and 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM on Saturday for Early Investigators; this is to provide ample viewing time for attendees who cannot make the live sessions. There will be a reception to provide Annual Meeting attendees an opportunity to meet and talk with the poster authors. As a poster presenter, you are required to be present and stand next to your poster during the designated reception times:

All poster abstracts are published in a special Supplement of the American Journal for Geriatric Psychiatry which will be available to all AAGP Annual Meeting attendees. These abstracts will be placed on PubMed. In addition, The American Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, encourages authors of accepted posters to consider submitting their research for potential publication in AJGP.
